Travel for us has been not only a hobby but a form of therapy. With each beautiful scenery we experience, with each pleasant person we encounter, with every delicious bite of a new cuisine - we are adding to our life experience. We are broadening and shifting our perspective. We are realizing how beautiful the world is - how awesome God’s Creations are. When we travel we leave out element and enter into a new zone. We feel free. We feel excitement. Our energy increases. We find new things and new places. Traveling is key part of elevating and evolving.
The Creator Dream M Power Inc has traveled her entire life. Her favorite place to be is on the beach; or in a lovely, dimly lit exquisite restaurant trying dishes that capture her cravings and send chills through her body. As an adult her perspective on travel evolved. While she attended Spelman College she majored in International Studies. A requirement for her degree was to travel abroad and develop her Senior Thesis. She chose Chile and lived there for four and a half months. In Chile, she visited Valparaiso, Santiago, Vina Del Mar, Putre, Arica and The Valley of Azapa where she would complete her thesis. While in Chile she became fluent in Spanish. She lived with Chileans families and learned of their culture, their values, their religions. While in Chile, at the ripe age of 21, she completely changed as a person. Her environment at home had been filled with tension and strife. In Chile everyone was happy, celebrating, free. It came to her awareness that joy was more important; family was more important; having a good time was more important. She was told by her Chilean Professor, “Americans Live to Work, we Work to Live.” This was a profound enlightenment. In Spanish Culture work is not their life’s main priority - family is. They work just enough to enjoy their lives. Rather, in America we work so hard to afford our lifestyles and much more. No one was ever angry in Chile. Everyone got along. The level of peace that Chileans embody surpasses all understanding. She returned to America a more happy person, more in tune, more peaceful. By visiting Chilean she not only opened herself to opportunities for bilingual positions, she opened her mind to the possibility of “flow” - not pushing against life, but embracing life; taking things easy and enjoying everyday. She also broadened her cultural perspective. In Chile each of the four families she lived with that different religious practices. She believed that all religions worked and they all made sense. She recognized that it was the faith and belief of the person that ignited the outcome. She became a better person, she became wiser.
Shortly after completing college, The Creator of Dream M Power Inc experienced a tragic loss in her life. The first piece of wisdom she heard and onto was a guy she heard on the radio say, “always have someone to love, something to do, and something to look forward to”. She attributes this simple statement to helping save her life. Her “something to look forward to” was Traveling. Each month she planned a trip. That gave her something to be excited about. Often, she traveled with her son, brother, grandmother or her friends. This gave them excitement as well. Her mind was shifted from her loss and grief to her plans, places she would go, foods she would eat. Travel became her therapy. She looked for “spiritual places” such as Sedona, AZ or The Grand Canyon - places where she saw the Awe of God. She visited many beaches, nice hotels, historical sites. She added to her knowledge base. And ultimately, she added to her life experience.
Her motto is “You Pay For the View You Want To See”. This applies to everyday life as well as travel. What you see effects how you feel. When you see beauty your mind reacts to what it is viewing and a chemical charge is sent to the brain raising your energy. The more beauty you see, the more your brain is stimulated. Energy begins to flow, ideas begin to come to you, you open up and connect with the Higher Self. Your atmosphere at home should be beautiful and peaceful. Your travels should be beautiful and peaceful. When you “pay for the view you want to see”, this gives you something to work towards - this gives you a goal. The more beauty you desire to view, the more goals you create. If you desire to see the mountain top, you must put the work in to hike to the peak. “Earn Your Leisure” is a saying to resonate with. Create a goal and a plan to afford to travel, to afford to take time away from work. Find work that will allow you to travel. Become your own Boss and create your own schedule. Create a business that pays you to travel. Traveling is prominent in human development. Add to your life experience and Travel With Us.

The island of Barbados is filled with Clear Water beaches, friendly people and tourist attractions. I must say, Barbados has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Every location I visited, the staff was not only friendly, but well-versed, professional, neatly dressed (even the garbage men wore neatly pressed uniforms). The food was amazing. My favorite dish was the “Bread Pudding” found at the Cocktail Kitchen in The St. Lawrence gap. You can shop “in the town” or hike in Bathsheba. I visited during the month of June and though that is their “stormy season”, there wasn’t a cloud in site. The water was warm both day and night. We stayed at the Radisson Hotel on Pebbles Beach. We enjoyed kayaking, jet skis, and snorkeling with the turtles. On a 10-day vacation Barbados had plenty to keep us entertained and filled with enjoyment.

Vina Del Mar neighbors the famous Chilean city known for its artsy streets, Valparaiso (Valpo). Vina is also a tourist attraction with its large beach front, hotels that sit in the water and plenty of shopping. Vina is a vacation haven. Not too crowded, not too fast pace - it’s city mixed with the suburbs but on the beach. When I lived in Vina I
lived on Cerro Castillo (Castle Hill) which happened to be one of my favorite places; a few steps from the sand, a few steps from restaurants and shops; and my most beautiful memory of Chile , “Reloj de Flores” - a giant clock made of flowers which graced the front of the hill. Not to mention, there’s actually an old castle (maybe it’s a church lol) on the hill as well. The residents of Vina are very posh and polished but love to have a great time. Everyone is your friend in Vina. I hugged, took pictures with, did interviews with so many strangers during my time there. My apprehensions never kicked it - meeting new people daily wax thing to do. Chile has the highest per capita rate in South America - they are living in luxury. The views, the air, the people, the history - there is so much to experience in Chile. Grab your passport and get ready to changed your world.
